My grandfather, uncle and cousin where all police officers in the UK. My father was born in the station police house - the most senior member of the village police where once upon a time housed in the same building, along with their family. I have the utmost respect and admiration for the demands of the job and challenges of street arbitration. Thank you Officers, thank you for those who walked the beat in times gone by and for those who do so now. God bless each peace officer who lost their life during 9/11. Maggie, Manhattan, NY
